"Basic 9 Patch" Quilt Class
This class is for the beginner (or the experienced quilter) that wants a fast fun project to use “cut goods” or charm packs (5” squares) as they are known! We will learn that accuracy counts, and the basic construction of a nine patch block. Then we will change it up and cut them up and turn them around and sew them back together again. You will also learn to cut with accuracy your two borders and how to measure for them and to apply them to your quilt center. Now depending how new you all are, we may need some sewing machine etiquette, and recommendations for good posture for a great, pain free sewing session. All “newbie” questions will be answered; nothing is “dumb or silly”! Please join us and look forward to a fun day. You may bring a lunch or snack and of course drinks in covered containers so we don’t have spillage! Chocolate and caffeine are always a great addition to the day! Come on and try it, you’ll like it!
