To calculate the price of your quilting you will need to measure all four sides of your quilt top.  You will use the longest of the length x the width. You will then take that figure and multiply it times 0.025. This will give you the total of the edge to edge quilting charge. Small quilts are a minimum 0f $50.00.

REMEMBER this figure does not include batting, nor thread, only the quilting itself.

Quilt Preparation

• Have BACKING cut at least 10 inches larger than your quilt top.
• Lay your quilt out on a flat surface and verify that the quilt (especially the
• borders) lay flat.
• Have quilt top trimmed to final finished size. We will not "cut-down" a quilt
• top.
• Remove all excess loose threads.
• Remove all pins, buttons and/or other embellishments.
• Have quilt top and backing fabric completely pressed, making sure all
• Seams are pressed flat.
• Use one safety pin to mark the top of the quilt top.
• Have ALL exterior seam endings back_stitched to prevent them from pulling open. This also applies to the backing fabric if it has been pieced.

Fullness and/or puckers within a quilt and its borders cannot be quilted out. Although I try my best, I cannot guarantee that puckers and tucks will not be sewn in. The flatter your quilt lays, the better the finished results will be.
